Recently, a ceremony was held at the Zero Kilometer Point in Ambodifasina to mark the opening of the first section of Madagascar’ s first-ever highway — the “Autoroute Reliant” (AR1). President Rajoelina personally inaugurated the highway and, together with dignitaries from various countries, rode in a motorcade of FOTON buses as part of the first convoy to travel on the new expressway.
