ZERO CARBON, LEADING, RECORD-BREAKING.
Up to now, FOTON has delivered nearly 1,000 hydrogen-fueled buses worldwide with a proven track record of delivering highly reliable and environmentally friendly performance, and the total mileage of all these zero-carbon-emission vehicles has accumulated over 13 million kilometers.
As one of the earliest enterprises engaged in new energy research and development, FOTON successfully developed the first generation of hydrogen fuel products as early as 2008. After nearly 15 years of development, it has iterated to the 5th generation of hydrogen-fueled bus, which adopts FOTON’s unique 70MPa ultra-high pressure hydrogen fuel storage technology and has completed the side-impact test.
In 2022, during the 24th Winter Olympic Games, Foton Motor provided 515 hydrogen-fueled buses to provide shuttle service for athletes and staffs around the world with zero breakdown operation, setting a record for the largest scale and the largest number of hydrogen-fueled buses ever to serve international-level sports events.

GIVEN OUR VAST LAND AND NEED FOR IMMEDIATE CARBON EMISSION REDUCTION IN THE TRANSPORT AREA, HYDROGEN FUEL CELL BUSES ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE MASS TRANSPORT LANDSCAPE. OUR BUS OPERATOR CLIENTS ARE READY TO MAKE THE LEAP TO HYDROGEN AND HAVE SCOPE TO INCLUDE THEM IN THEIR FLEET.

When you start the vehicle you’re operating on the capacity of the battery, you flick that switch onto the up position that operates the hydrogen and that’s what you’ll be driving around on hydrogen and electric. It can transfer from one to the other you still can drive around. The instant power is great, so smooth and linear.
It has 2 different form of charging ports with DC/AC. Safety is paramount when you’re dealing with this new technology. There’s an impact monitor over rear impact care, there’s an isolation switch that just operates and shuts everything down.
Visibility in the bus is outstanding, one of the added bonus is digital internal mirrors, it’s like I’ve got eyes everywhere.
Accessibility into this bus that you’ve got a low flat floor and wheelchairs and a lot of rooms for standees. In the rear of the bus head height is even great for a man with over 6 foot tall. Lots of welcome accessory and USB ports in every seat.

THE HYDROGEN FUEL CELL TECHNOLOGY IS ALL NEW TO US, BUT IT TURNS OUT THAT I’VE BEEN VERY IMPRESSED, WELL THOUGHT OUT AND WELL DESIGNED, OUTSTANDING VISIBILITY, ACCESSIBILITY, GREAT INSTANT POWER, SAFE HYDROGEN STORAGE AND MANAGEMENT.
